In hard surface modeling each student models a fire hydrant and combat knife-- Once in Maya and once in ZBrush. By modeling the same two assets twice, it help us learn the strengths of each software package. Below is my fire hydrant sculpt in ZBrush (top) compared to the one I made in Maya (bottom) several years ago.

Breaking the silence. Things have been very busy this last year at The U, Gapp Lab, and Rockwell, unfortunately most of the stuff I've worked on I can't post:(
So here's a personal project that I did last week to polish up on my hard surface skills and dust off my PBR pipeline. Made in Maya and Quixel, rendered in Marmoset.
