Little behind this week, after putting together the pitch for WARTIME. WARTIME is a game idea that I pitched for the capstone game to be made at the U by the EAE: MGS students.  The pitch included a one page doc. with images and a video of the build I made over the weekend in UDK.  The build is not functional, but represents the in game graphics in real time.  Below is the one pager and some select images.

Real Time Tactics 

WARTIME is a real time tactical strategy game.  This is Advance Wars meets Total War.

As the general, you stand inside the headquarters, commanding your units from an old supercomputer. As  tension mounts, conflict is certain.  Reinforce your army, form advance militaristic formations, scout the area, set-up traps, and seize control of cities to fund your campaign.  Prepare to attack, prepare to defend, prepare for the unexpected… its time for war, this is WARTIME!

CREATE a vast army with a verity of units, such as: infantry, miners, engineers, scouts, and commanders.


ORGANIZE your troops into real militaristic formations to march , attack, defend, and ambush.  Troop formations include; columns, lines, wedges, squares, and much more!


DECLARE WAR online in multiplayer mode or battle against the A.I. in a single player campaign.

VICTORY IS CERTAIN, by managing the scope.  Additional unit types (I.E. air, water, mechanized) can be added later, along with other militaristic formations (staggered column, echelon, closed square) via downloadable content (DLC).  

JOIN THE WAR to win the IGF by texting WARTIME to 801.830.4274.  Noncombatant positions included, producers, programmers, and artist.  UDK boot camp will be provided.
